Our Mission

EMPOWERING DISCIPLES THROUGH TEACHING,
SPIRIT-LED LEADERSHIP, AND
THE UNCOMPROMISING WORD OF GOD

Our mission is grounded in the belief that every follower of Christ can live a victorious life through His Word. We are committed to teaching believers who they are in Christ, leading them into spiritual maturity, and assisting them in becoming firmly rooted and established in biblical truth. Through intentional discipleship, Spirit-filled guidance, and practical application of Scripture, we aim to equip people to grow, serve, and impact the world around them.

Teach

To teach people worldwide how to live a victorious life in Christ Jesus, to know their covenant rights and privileges, and to become fully functional disciples who reach out and disciple others to do the same.
(Acts 17:28, 2 Corinthians 13:4)

Lead

To lead people to the place where they embrace the love of God, to benefit from and operate in the biblical principles of faith, love, healing, prosperity, redemption and righteousness.
(Hebrews 11:1, Ephesians 4:15-16)

Assist

To Assist people in becoming rooted, grounded and established in the Word of God by teaching them to give God’s Word first place in their lives.
(Colossians 1:23, Psalm 112).

Our Vision

TO SEE PEOPLE EMPOWERED BY THE WORD OF GOD AND TRANSFORMED THROUGH THE LIFE-CHANGING POWER OF SCRIPTURE

Our vision is to raise up believers who are strong in the Word, confident in their identity in Christ, and equipped to live out their God-given purpose. As the Word of God takes root in a person’s life, it brings clarity, conviction, and spiritual maturity, producing real transformation. We desire to see individuals and families strengthened, communities impacted, and the Kingdom of God advanced as people embrace the power, truth, and authority of Scripture.

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword…”

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God… that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

OUR BELIEFS

WHAT WE BELIEVE,
WHY WE BELIEVE IT,
AND HOW WE LIVE IT

At Word Life Church, our beliefs are rooted in Scripture and guide everything we teach, practice, and pursue. These truths shape our faith, our community, and our mission to live empowered by the Word of God. Below is an overview of our foundational beliefs, expressed with the same conviction and clarity found in God’s Word.

We believe that Jesus will return, and that those who have believed in Him will be resurrected to a heavenly dwelling in an incorruptible body, and those who do not believe will join Satan and his host in everlasting punishment.
(1 Corinthians 15:52)

We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God—complete, infallible, unchanging, and authoritative for every believer.
(2 Timothy 3:16)

We believe in practicing Communion just as Jesus instituted it — using unleavened bread to represent His sinless body and unfermented wine to represent His redeeming blood. This ordinance commemorates His death, announces His return, and testifies to the unity of believers in Christ.
(Matthew 26:26–29, Mark 14:22–25, Luke 22:15–20, 1 Corinthians 11:23–26)

Following Christ’s example, we believe in washing one another’s feet as a demonstration of humility, love, and Christian fellowship, practiced alongside or in connection with the Lord’s Supper.
(1 Corinthians 10:15–17; 11:27–28; 2 Corinthians 13:5; 1 Timothy 5:10)

We believe God teaches through His Word that the work of the ministry is supported through the faithful giving of tithes and offerings. Tithing (10%) is both an Old Covenant command and a New Testament blessing.
(Genesis 28:22; Malachi 3:10; Matthew 23:23; Luke 6:38; 1 Corinthians 9:3–14; Proverbs 3:9; Hebrews 7:8)

We believe all members of the Body of Christ are called to holiness—separated from sin and consecrated to the Lord. Believers should abstain from practices and influences that harm the body, soul, or spirit and pursue a lifestyle that reflects purity and devotion to God.
(Leviticus 19:2; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Ephesians 5:26–27; 1 Thessalonians 4:3–4; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:16)

OUR BELIEFS

WHAT WE BELIEVE

At Word Life Church, our beliefs are firmly rooted in Scripture and guide everything we teach and practice. Below are our complete Statements of Faith, presented in full to clearly reflect our doctrine and biblical convictions.

We believe in one God who has manifested Himself as Father in creation, as Son in the redemption and as Holy Spirit in the hearts of believers.
(Isaiah 40:28, Matthew 28:18–20, 1 Timothy 3:16, Colossians 1:16, Ephesians 1:7, Acts 2:16–18)

The first commandment of all is, “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.”
(Mark 12:29, Deuteronomy 6:4)

“But to us there is but one God…”
(1 Corinthians 8:6)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was born miraculously from the womb of the Virgin Mary through the work of the Holy Spirit, and He is, at the same time, the One and only true God. The God of the Old Testament who took upon Himself human form.

“And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us…”
“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
(1 Timothy 3:16; Romans 9:5; 1 John 5:20; Isaiah 60:1–3; John 1:14)

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as promised by God in the Old Testament and as poured out after the glorification of our Lord Jesus Christ, who sends it.
(Joel 2:28–29; John 7:37–39; John 14:16–26; Acts 2:1–4, 16–18)

Furthermore, we believe that the demonstration that the person has been baptized with the Holy Spirit is the speaking in new tongues or languages.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the power that enables us to testify of Christ. The Holy Spirit helps us develop a Christian character more pleasing to God. The same Spirit endows men with gifts for the edification of the Church.

We do not believe that any man has the power to impart the gifts of God.
(Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22–25; Romans 12:6–8; 1 Corinthians 12:1–12; Ephesians 4:7–13; 1 Corinthians 12:11)

We believe in baptism in water, by immersion in the Name of Jesus Christ. Baptism should be by immersion because only in this way can it represent the death of man unto sin, thus bearing similarity to the death of Christ.
(Romans 6:1–5)

Baptism is an outward expression of repentance and an inward change after conversion and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
(Acts 2:38)

Baptism should be done in the name of Jesus Christ because this was the practice of the Apostles and ministers who baptized during the early period of the Church, as recorded in the Holy Scriptures.
(Acts 2:38; 8:16; 10:48; 19:6; 22:16)

“If we are baptized in Christ, we are baptized into His death; all of our sins are nailed to the cross. This revelation will free us from guilt.”
(Romans 6:4)

We believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
(John 20:31; Ephesians 2:3; 1 John 1:7; Revelation 1:5)

Salvation consists of deliverance from all sin and unrighteousness through the blood of Jesus Christ. The New Testament experience of salvation consists of repentance from sin, water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost, after which the Christian is to live a godly life.
(Acts 2:36–41; John 3:16)

We believe it is essential for man to repent of sin and by faith receive the finished work of Christ by confessing Him as Lord with his mouth and believing in his heart, resulting in regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
(Romans 10:8–10)

We believe in the biblical interpretation of marriage between man and woman. We promote, support, and advocate for the scriptural example of God’s best in sexual practice, marital union, orientation, demonstration, and lifestyle.
(1 Corinthians 6:9–10; Leviticus 18; Romans 1:26–27)

We believe in divine healing through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ and that healing is included in the Redemption.
(Matthew 8:17; Matthew 9:35; 1 Corinthians 12:28)

The healing of the body takes place through a combination of the faith of the believer and power in the Name of Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ promised that those who believed in His Name would lay hands on the sick and the sick would recover.
(Mark 16:18)

We believe in the imminent return of Jesus and that those who have believed in Him will be resurrected to a heavenly dwelling in an incorruptible body, and those who do not believe will join Satan and his host in everlasting punishment.
(1 Corinthians 15:52)

We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God, infallible, unchanging, and authoritative.
(2 Timothy 3:16)

We believe in the literal practice of the Lord’s Supper (Communion), which He Himself instituted. This ordinance uses unleavened bread representing the sinless body of our Lord Jesus Christ and unfermented wine representing His blood, which consummated our redemption.
(Matthew 26:26–29; Mark 14:22–25; Luke 22:15–20; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26)

The object of this ceremony is to commemorate the death of our Lord Jesus Christ and to announce His return, while testifying to the communion that exists among believers.

After the supper, the Lord washed His disciples’ feet, demonstrating humility and Christian fellowship. The Church practices this act in connection with the Lord’s Supper.
(1 Corinthians 10:15–17; 11:27–28; 2 Corinthians 13:5; 1 Timothy 5:10)

We believe that God teaches through His Word that the work of the Lord is supported through tithes and offerings. Giving tithes (10%) honors God with our substance and first fruits and is both an Old Covenant command and a New Testament blessing.
(Genesis 28:22; Malachi 3:10; Proverbs 3:9; Hebrews 7:8)

We believe all members of the Body of Christ should be holy—separated from sin and consecrated to the service of the Lord.
(Leviticus 19:2; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Ephesians 5:26–27; 1 Thessalonians 4:3–4; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:16)
